The North Planning Committee of Highland Council have unanimously agreed to the Ullapool Harbour Trust’s proposals to reconfigure Shore Street in order to ease traffic congestion and improve pedestrian safety.
This will involve the widening of Shore Street, the creation of a new promenade and the installation of pontoons for visiting yachts. The proposal will reclaim some 10 metres from the sea and the whole street will be widened by over 6 metres. Transport Scotland and the Ullapool Promenade Group have also been consulted. While the developers have now been given planning permission by Highland Council, a Marine License is still needed from Marine Scotland, before work can begin.

Whilst it is a real sadness to have to delete ongoing conversations (with everyone who’s been sent this link from you), there is a darker side – the originator/s are trying to glean as much information about you as they can to build up false persona, and/or find financial information about you and your friends.
To safeguard your contacts in future, always start a new conversation each time you “speak” to them via Messenger.
