MIGHTY HIGHLAND HOSPICE FUNDRAISERS!
We are so lucky to have certain fundraisers who go above and beyond for us time and time again.
This tractor, an International 484, was generously donated by Fraser MacNeil from Lairg.
‘The Ullapool Boys’ set to work on it and the tractor was sold for an incredible £3000!
Our stalwart fundraiser, John Urquhart (pictured far right), along with Kenny Macpherson and Ian Rettie want to pass on thanks to Kevin and Iain of the Harbour Trust for doing the shot blasting, Sandy Urquhart for the valued use of his shed, Hamish Fraser for his much appreciated advice and Lachie Macdonald for the spray painting.
On top of this donation, the Ullapool Boys raised a phenomenal £3751.23 for the tractor run they did in June….
To raise £6751 for the Hospice in the space of a few months is just incredible!
To all those involved – from Ullapool and other nearby areas – we greatly appreciate your staunch support which helps all those who rely on our many services.
WINTER & CHRISTMAS MARKETS
There are a few tables still available at Ullapool Village Hall’s Winter and Xmas markets.
The Winter Markets will take place on Friday 26th/Saturday 27th November along with the Winter Wonderland in the grounds outside. Cost per stall £25.
We hope to hold the Christmas Market on Saturday 11th December if there is enough demand. Stalls cost £15. Ullapool Fairtrade Group will be providing Refreshments: soups, teas and Fairtrade homebaking, with the proceeds going to the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
