Due to work being carried out at Uig, Ullapool has the Lochmaddy Ferry arriving from January 18 to 13 March 2023
This means there are some alterations in the bus and ferry times.
Monday to Friday
Morning sailing on the Stornoway Ferry arrives an hour earlier at 0830 and leaves at 0930.
Afternoon sailing arrives earlier at 1530 and departs at 1630
The Lochmaddy Ferry arrives 1000 and leaves again at 1100
Please see below for weekend changes as well. The buses should operate in time with the ferries leaving for Inverness 1020 and 1550.

The 61 service with D&E Coaches will be schooldays only commencing 9th January 2023

Harbour and Shore Street Works are still ongoing, with the temporary installation of a bridge adjacent to the new roundhead construction area between the link span and the existing pier and will also include the installion of protection piles adjacent to the new roundhead construction area. Care Inspectorate give Achiltibuie Primary School Nursery and Lochinver Primary School positive reports.
Head Teacher at both settings, Colin Masterson said “I am so pleased for our schools as the reports reflect all the hard work and effort that has gone in to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our pupils. The Nursery improvements at Achiltibuie had taken place under the restrictions of Covid-19 and the positive results are a testament to the caring and dedicated nature of all staff involved. We have demonstrated that we are a nursery where caring relationships and child led learning are at the heart of everything we do. The whole school community at Lochinver Primary has worked hard to ensure that even with the interruptions during the pandemic that quality learning continued. Lochinver is a happy and caring school where pupils are switched on and engaged with their learning, and where learning takes place inside, outside and in the wider community.
