VISIT SCOTLAND: ULLAPOOL TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE
This invaluable office will be closed permanently from Saturday 28th September.
We should like to thank Kirsty Lavelle and her team for the amazing, informative and friendly service they have given not only to visitors but to everyone in the community that has had need of them.
You will be sorely missed.
The closing of all tourist offices in Scotland seems, to us, to be a major retrograde step by Visit Scotland and we hope that perhaps some sort of local information centre can come into being before the start of the next tourist season. Eds.

POST OFFICE
PLEASE NOTE: next Monday 30 September is the
last day that the mobile Post Office will be in Ullapool and with the Tesco Post Office not opening until 21st October it means there will be three weeks without any service at all as the Dingwall Post mistress is away on holiday.
