A CHRISTMAS STORY
Our Christmas story began two years ago, when a customer came into the Candle Shop looking for candles of a specific colour: red, white, green and yellow. He explained that every Christmas Eve his wife Caroline would light these candles and make a dedication. In her case, it was a prayer, as they burned. This was a tradition in her home in Colombia.
After searching high and low in the stock cupboard, eventually we found the four colours they were looking for. We were eager to help as it was such a beautiful idea. Caroline explained that the green represents nature and the earth, the white is for peace, the red is for love and family and the yellow is for wealth.
One year later the couple came into the shop to show us their newborn baby. We all guessed then what the dedication had been the year before.
