Are you a friend of Lael Forest?!
Do you enjoy walking in Lael Forest?
Or have you stopped in one of the Lael Forest car parks to stretch your legs on your way to Inverness?
If so, you might want to know about the Friends of Lael Forest. This is a new, informal group, started by people living close to Lael Forest in Braemore/Auchindrean. Now we want to open the group up to the wider community.
The group is currently in touch with Forestry Land Scotland about damage to one of the Forest Trails, caused by their logging contractor. We are also keen to start activities and projects that contribute to the health and sustainability of the Forest, and to local people’s enjoyment of it.

on Thursday 13th February 1:15-2:15
They will be here to assist with any problems with phones, laptops etc, Free to anyone. Come along and learn how to do the things you’ve always wanted to do with your gadgets

VISITOR LEVY CONSULTATION
The Public Library Community Drop-in Events will be an informal in-person drop-in opportunity to chat with Council staff on the proposed Visitor Levy Scheme and ask questions about the proposal or the consultation process.
Public access computers will also be available on-site for members of the public to fill in the online consultation document, if required.
Locally this will be at
