ANNAT Baywatch
Extracts from latest report…

Lots of dolphins with babies, more smaller pods, maybe down to the fish they are targeting.
Lots of minke whales, out in the Minch and along the coast…
Sea Eagles still cropping up in various places, and a juvenile out near the ANNAT nesting site that wasn’t theirs so not sure if a fledgling from another nest nearby or one of last year’s.
Two young otters rescued from the road near Leckmelm…… now named Bella & Drum and taken to the Isle of Skye.

more rescue hedgehogs being released locally .

 Don’t forget – Angling Competition Saturday 30 August 2025

Price Increase for the Ullapool News

As of 15 August ( next week’s edition )  the cost of the Ullapool News will be £1.

Any subscriptions will be honoured until their renewal.

The decision to increase the cost has not been taken lightly but the ageing computers and printing machines need to be replaced.  We hope our loyal readers and advertisers will continue to support us and feel that the paper and all the hard work that goes into producing it every week is worth the increase.
