Lots of dolphins with babies, more smaller pods, maybe down to the fish they are targeting.
Lots of minke whales, out in the Minch and along the coast…
Sea Eagles still cropping up in various places, and a juvenile out near the ANNAT nesting site that wasn’t theirs so not sure if a fledgling from another nest nearby or one of last year’s.
Two young otters rescued from the road near Leckmelm…… now named Bella & Drum and taken to the Isle of Skye.
more rescue hedgehogs being released locally .

As of 15 August ( next week’s edition ) the cost of the Ullapool News will be £1.
Any subscriptions will be honoured until their renewal.
The decision to increase the cost has not been taken lightly but the ageing computers and printing machines need to be replaced.
