Lochinver and Assynt area —from beginner to expert
Lochinver Trials Club welcomes riders of all ages and skill levels — from complete beginners to seasoned competitors.
We run friendly practice days and events across the Lochinver and Assynt area, focused on balance, control, and developing skills in a supportive environment.
Whether you already ride or want to try it for the first time, come along, meet local riders, and experience the stunning Highland terrain in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Club membership fees are currently offered at a 50% discount for the remainder of 2025.

Ullapool Museum and the Young Curator’s Club warmly invite you to the opening of the exhibition From Cradle to Grave: Births, Deaths & Marriages in Lochbroom
Dates:1st -7th November 2025
Venue: The Macphail Centre, Ullapool
Opening Event: Saturday 1st November, 1:00pm
Official Opening of the Exhibition by RuMac
This exhibition, curated entirely by our Young Curator’s Club, explores the most significant moments in life, birth, marriage, and death, as experienced within the Lochbroom community. Drawing upon local archives, family stories, and historical artefacts, the young curators present a thoughtful reflection on how these events have been celebrated, marked, and remembered across generations. Through objects such as christening gowns, wedding dresses, and mourning dress, From Cradle to Grave reveals how local customs and beliefs continue to shape community life in the Highlands today.
Opening Event: Saturday 1st November, 1:00pm

Please join us for the official opening to celebrate the work and creativity of Ullapool’s young curators, with the official opening of the exhibition conducted by local celebrity RuMac, and share an afternoon of local heritage.
